Maintaining Digital Research platforms and services to enable high performance computing, secure computing, research data management, scalable virtual computing environments, and museum informatics.

Supporting Undergraduate Discovery Projects with Research IT Data and Computing Services

Expanding Secure Research Computing collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Strategic partnership with NASA Ames at Moffett Field in support of research computing as well as advisement on the Berkeley Space Center’s data & computing infrastructure

Design, implementation and operationalization of the Secure Research Data and Compute platform (SRDC) for work with highly sensitive data and created new Director of Cybersecurity role

Pursuing new and innovative ways to engage our undergraduate students in the research mission of our campus through access to data and new computational platforms (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks)

Offering new RTL workshops spanning six unique categories, each designed to provide essential teaching tools and best practices

Adapting our Academic Innovation Studio programs and services to meet the help and training needs of instructors

Creating learning opportunities through KALX Radio for students that tie in tocurriculum(e.g., Journalism,UE Discovery) as well as hands-on opportunities in digital and broadcast platforms
